IYABO AMOKE. AS
A NNEKA EDU
Iyabo Amoke is well known around the theatre community in
Nigeria as a talented stage actor. A law graduate of the
University of Buckingham, UK, Iyabo received her theatrical
training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art
(LAMDA).
30 Days is Iyabo’s second appearance in a Nollywood
movie, the first being Joke Silva’s “The
Kingmaker”.
Iyabo has performed in numerous first class stage productions
including Ahmed Yerima’s “Death and
the King’s
Horseman” at the Muson Center, Lagos, Awoba Bob Manuel’s “Shylock” also
at the Muson Center, Lagos, Drew Ackroyd’s “The
Destiny of Me” at the Finborough Theatre, UK, Jenny
Lipman’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at
MacOwen Theatre, UK, Matt Gray’s “The Atheist’s
Tragedy” at the Chiswick Theatre, UK and Tomi Phillips’ “OMODO” at
the Radcliffe Theater, UK.
Iyabo Amoke plays the role of journalist, Nneka Edu.
